About Elphos (In Detail)

Elphos got its name from the greek goddess Elpis - who is said to be the only greek goddess to not fly away when Pandora opened a boxed filled with all sorts of spirits, demons, gods and goddesses. Therefore she is considered the Goddess of Hope, staying behind to comfort mankind when the other bad spirits started to cause trouble.

We believe that small things can impact lives in big ways. We all know that acts of kindness spread and grow. Often having a exponential impact in a community. Elphos hopes that througth the idea of sending postive messages to people, we too make a small difference.

What Do we Get out of this?

Absolutly nothing!! No gimics, no scams, nothing!! We wanted to create something that did something positive for no other motivation than simply to do something good. Many of our friends think we are insane for putting in the money, time and effort on this project without taking a salary - or gaining anything. However, knowing that there are people out there who get our letters and feel happiness, appreciated, or something else positive is enough motivation for us, and worth the time and money that we have given to this project.
